Findlay Digital Academy has received additional funding through the federal government ARP IDEA funds. These funds are earmarked to be spent on students with disabilities. The academy is using these funds to provide for additional tutors for all special needs students.

Child Find
Each educational agency shall adopt and implement written policy approved by the Ohio department of education, office for exceptional children, that ensure all children with disabilities residing within the district who are in need of special education and related services are identified, located, and evaluated as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. PBIS
(Positive Behavior Intervention Supports Restraint)
FDA shall make every effort to prevent the need for the use of Restraint and/or Seclusion. Restraint and/or Seclusion shall not be used, except when there is an immediate risk of physical harm ot the student or others, and shall only occur in the manner that complies with this policy and protects the safety of al children and adults at FDA. Every use of Restraint and/or Seclusion shall be documented and reported. The complete FDA policy is available for your review on the FDA website under Board/Policy/ Policy JDDD / Policy 6.46.
