The typical classroom is old news for Findlay Digital Academy. Students have the opportunity to work online from anywhere or with our expert faculty in our state-of-the-art facilities. Discover what we have to offer.
Findlay Digital Academy (FDA) is a Conversion Community School sponsored by the Findlay
City Schools to serve students in grades 9 – 12 living in the Findlay City School District. There
is no cost to the student to attend FDA.
Our mission is to meet the needs of each student by providing state approved education
through on-line instruction and individualized mentoring.
Academic & Technical Assistance
Findlay Digital Academy assigns each student an Instructional Coach who provides academic support and technical assistance. The Instructional Coach will make an attempt to contact the student every week to discuss academic progress.
Computer & Connectivity
At the conclusion of the orientation session, each student is issued a computer. The computer is the students to use during the time that he/she is enrolled in the Findlay Digital Academy.
Parents must provide insurance to cover replacement of the computer should it become damaged or stolen. Parents must also provide, at a minimum, a phone line for the computer to connect to the internet.
Tutoring sessions take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday when school is in session at the Findlay Digital Academy office, 1219 W. Main Cross, Findlay. Seven to nine Instructional coaches are available daily to assist students. Instructional Coaches are experienced HQT teachers. Students are encouraged to attend tutoring sessions at least 2-4 hours a week. If Findlay City Schools are closed due to inclement weather, tutoring sessions are cancelled.
